Auburn Reed is focused on overcoming her difficult history and setting her life in the right direction. In her mid-twenties, she faces financial difficulties as she fights for custody of her son. During this time, she discovers the art studio of Owen Gentry, a gifted and charismatic artist. As their romantic feelings grow, they both grapple with the secrets they are hiding.
