Asta and Yuno, who were left at the same church as infants, have been inseparable ever since. As kids, they vowed to compete against each other to determine who would become the next Emperor Magus. However, as they matured, their differences became evident. Yuno was naturally gifted with magic, showcasing extraordinary power and control, whereas Asta was unable to use magic and compensated by focusing on physical training. At the age of 15, when they were given their Grimoires, Yuno received an exceptional one with a four-leaf clover (while most people get a three-leaf clover), but Asta received nothing. Yet, when Yuno faced danger, Asta’s true power emerged, and he obtained a five-leaf clover Grimoire, known as a “black clover.” Now, the two friends embark on their journey, both striving for the same ambition!
