Superhero Captain Atomic faces an unexpected challenge when, during a handshake with Joey, a 12-year-old admirer, his unhappy sidekick turns him into a powerless puppet. Stripped of his abilities, Captain Atomic soon understands that the key to restoring his powers lies in joining forces with the boy. While this is a thrilling opportunity for Joey, it’s less ideal for Captain Atomic. Despite their differences, they forge an unusual and clumsy alliance, emerging as the city’s latest superhero team, dubbed Atomic Puppet.
