Ascension

In 1963, the United States government initiated a secretive space expedition, dispatching numerous men, women, and children on a hundred-year journey aboard the starship Ascension with the goal of colonizing a new planet. As they near the halfway mark of their voyage, almost 50 years in, the enigmatic murder of a young woman stirs doubt among the crew and passengers, prompting them to reconsider the real purpose of their mission.
