In “Runner Runner,” directed by Brad Furman, a Princeton graduate named Richie Furst loses his tuition money in an online poker game and travels to Costa Rica to confront the site’s owner, Ivan Block. As Richie becomes entangled in Block’s world of high-stakes gambling and corruption, he must navigate a dangerous game of deception and ambition.
