Tommy DiNello, a freelance videographer, returns to North Branford, Connecticut, after spending two years in New York City. His cousins, Marie and Dom Jr., who are very close to him, are struggling to come to terms with their father’s recent marriage to a young foreign woman named Varya, which happened just two years after their mother’s passing. With his own parents having relocated to Florida during his absence, Tommy has no option but to live with his Uncle Dominic and cousin Marie, all while grappling with the memories of why he left town initially. He reconnects with his dear friend Angela, which is a bittersweet reunion since she is the only one who truly understands and has witnessed his past.
