Requiem for a Fighter

Lucas, once an officer in the Danish Army, journeys to Derry, Northern Ireland, to investigate the circumstances surrounding his estranged son’s death. During his quest, he uncovers a hidden aspect of his son’s life and the circle he was involved with. Among them is Michael, who participates in illegal boxing matches to earn fast money, under the guidance of his father, who is unaware of Michael’s struggles with his sexual identity. These bouts are leading up to a climactic showdown with Brian Beru, the undefeated champion of the gypsies and a formidable opponent. To make it through, Michael will need Lucas’s assistance.
