“RAGAMUFFIN” tells the true story of Rich Mullins, a gifted musician who achieved fame and success in the Christian music scene, only to leave it all behind to live on a Navajo reservation. Growing up on a tree farm in Indiana with a tough and unfeeling father, Rich spent his life grappling with the deep-seated wounds and insecurities from his childhood. A devoted follower of Jesus and a nonconformist within the church, Rich was determined not to let his battles with alcoholism, addiction, and relationships pull him away from his faith. As he navigated the highs of success in Nashville, the lows of depression in Wichita, and the obscurity of the Four Corners, Rich stood out as one of the first in his era to live authentically in a world dominated by religious norms and conformity.
