Phillip Filmore, an innocent 15-year-old fixated on sexual thoughts, becomes infatuated with Nicole Mallow, the new French housekeeper in her thirties, who is tasked with looking after him while his father is away for the summer on a “business” trip. However, Mr. Filmore’s deceitful chauffeur, Lester Lewis, exploits Phillip’s infatuation by hiring Nicole to entice the young boy. He then involves her in a scheme to feign her own death as part of a blackmail plan designed to deplete Phillip’s trust fund.
