Plan C

Ronald Plasmeyer, portrayed by Ruben Van Der Meer, is a down-on-his-luck detective in Amsterdam, grappling with financial woes due to his gambling addiction. When Hao, a Chinese crime lord, threatens Ronald’s former wife and child to recover his debts, Ronald devises a scheme to resolve his troubles. He recruits two small-time crooks, played by Ton Kas and René Van ‘t Hof, to stage a heist at an illegal poker game he’s attending, giving him a solid alibi. The plan is designed to be swift, straightforward, and non-violent, seemingly without any flaws—until the situation turns deadly. Ronald’s accomplices abscond with the loot, leaving him with nothing. To complicate matters further, his fellow officers begin to suspect his involvement in the heist, leading to a tense and thrilling pursuit. Ronald finds himself fully committed, yet holding the worst possible cards in this high-stakes gamble.
