Pieces of Easter

Alza Bennett is determined to reunite with her distant family for Easter, but a car accident leaves the stressed-out executive stranded over 700 miles from her destination. She finds herself at the doorstep of Lincoln, a gruff and solitary farmer who prefers solitude. After reaching an agreement, this unlikely duo embarks on a three-day journey filled with mishaps across America’s roads. Along the way, they face rat-infested motels, convenience store robberies, rural rabbit hunters, and a starry-eyed couple from a nearby trailer park. Most importantly, they are compelled to confront each other as their contrasting worlds of a high-strung executive and a reclusive farmer clash at every turn. This comedic take on The Prodigal Son is seen through the eyes of a young woman seeking reconciliation as she navigates her way back home.
