Phi ha Ayothaya
In 1586, historical records show that King Bayinnaung led his forces through the Malamao Strait in Tak province to launch an attack on Ayutthaya. After a series of relentless battles, Ayutthaya succumbed to the Burmese army from Hongsawadi in 1569, marking the end of its sovereignty. The downfall of the Ayutthaya Kingdom remains a mystery. Some speculate that the “Black Death” might have decimated the population, while others attribute it to ravenous spirits or a plague brought by the Portuguese. However, the true cause remained elusive until the deceased inexplicably turned into a type of undead known as ‘The Black Death,’ who fearlessly attacked and devoured the villagers, leaving even the monks powerless to banish them.
