Philippe Mars strives to satisfy everyone around him. He aims to be a devoted father, a considerate ex-husband, a supportive coworker, and a compassionate brother. However, his orderly life starts to unravel. His son adopts an extreme vegetarian lifestyle, his daughter becomes obsessively studious, and his sister displays enormous portraits of their nude parents. Meanwhile, at work, he has to deal with the erratic behavior of his unstable colleague, Jerôme, who unexpectedly arrives at Philippe’s home one evening with a young woman recently discharged from a clinic.
