Nancy, Please

“NANCY, PLEASE” follows the journey of Paul Brawley, a talented doctoral student at Yale. Having recently moved in with his practical girlfriend, Jen, Paul is under pressure to finish his dissertation and launch his academic career. However, he hits a roadblock when he realizes that he has left behind an item he considers crucial: a worn, heavily annotated hardcover of Charles Dickens’ ‘Little Dorrit’. This book, which he believes is vital to his dissertation and future, is still with his stubborn former roommate, Nancy. As Paul becomes increasingly obsessed with retrieving ‘Little Dorrit’, his personal and professional life begins to fall apart.
