Muffin Top: A Love Story

“Muffin Top: A Love Story” follows the journey of Suzanne (played by Cathryn Michon), a Women’s Studies and Pop Culture professor at Malibu University. Despite her professional focus on analyzing media portrayals of women, she struggles with self-doubt in a society obsessed with flawless female images. Suzanne is undergoing IVF treatments to conceive with her husband, a television executive (Diedrich Bader), but on her birthday, she learns that he has impregnated his younger, slimmer colleague (Haylie Duff) and wants a divorce. What a birthday surprise! As she navigates the challenges of being newly single in Los Angeles, a city notorious for exporting low self-esteem among women, Suzanne embarks on a quest to discover a more genuine sense of self.
