Claude, a statistics professor who often goes unnoticed, carries the burden of a traumatic childhood event that resulted in the loss of his mother. This experience has led to a disturbing obsession. In an attempt to fulfill his twisted desires, he abducts Kim from a park and confines her in his basement. As time goes by and Claude’s secrets come to light, Kim’s initial terror begins to transform into a sense of ease and empathy… or perhaps not?
