Amber Vickers is overjoyed to finally be marrying her dream partner, Luke, after a series of unsuccessful relationships that made her doubt herself. Her future mother-in-law and close friend, Jill, sees Amber as the ideal daughter she never had. Everything seems perfect until Amber’s mother, Sharon, arrives for a visit. Sharon is flashy, rigid, and outspoken, starkly contrasting with Jill.
