Graduate student Becca, who is youthful in spirit, forms an unexpected bond with Emily, a reserved girl dealing with the recent loss of her mother. As they spend time together under the watchful eye of Emily’s father, Becca aids Emily in opening up and dealing with her grief, while Emily helps Becca embrace adult responsibilities.
