Lady in the Water

In “Lady in the Water,” directed by M. Night Shyamalan, a building superintendent named Cleveland Heep discovers a mysterious young woman named Story living in the swimming pool of his apartment complex. As he learns that she is a “narf” from a bedtime story trying to return to her world, Cleveland and the tenants band together to protect her from malevolent creatures and help her complete her journey.
