King of Mahjong

“King of Mahjong” revolves around the long-standing rivalry and eventual reconciliation between Wong Tin Ba and Ah Fatt. Two decades later, Wong Tin Ba, now a globally recognized mahjong champion and tycoon, arrives in Ipoh to challenge Fatt to a decisive match—the World Mahjong Championship. Despite Wong’s persistence, Fatt refuses to participate, content with his simple life. To coerce Fatt into competing, Wong kidnaps Fatt’s wife, Ramona, and pressures her to join his side. With his wife’s safety at stake, Fatt is compelled to enter the championship.
