In the 1970s, Greg Laurie, a teenager without direction, looks for meaning in misguided ways until he encounters Lonnie Frisbee, a captivating hippie and street preacher. Alongside local pastor Chuck Smith, they transform a struggling church into the center of an unforeseen spiritual awakening.
