In the late 1980s and early 1990s, collecting baseball cards became a beloved hobby across North America. Enthusiasts invested millions in this modern-day treasure hunt, preserving their pristine cards in plastic sleeves, hoping their value would increase over time. However, this fragile market eventually collapsed, rendering the once-valuable cards, along with the dreams of many fathers and sons, worthless. Stu Stone was one such son, and his bond with his father Jack, who was involved in the card industry, deteriorated alongside the market. Now, 25 years later, Stu embarks on a quest to understand why his cherished baseball cards are now only valuable for the childhood memories they evoke. Unexpectedly, his journey leads him to seek out the most elusive card of all—his father Jack.
