I Am Shahid Afridi

The narrative follows a young boy, Noman Habib, who aspires to emulate Shahid Afridi but finds himself in dire straits when the only cricket club he knows goes bankrupt. With limited options, he stumbles upon a final opportunity to rescue his club, his community, and his aspirations. A cricket tournament is set to take place in Sialkot, potentially offering the club its last chance at redemption. However, the team, composed of misfits lacking proper facilities and a coach, faces the daunting task of qualifying for the tournament and competing against highly skilled, privileged opponents. In their quest, they seek assistance from former cricketer Akbar Deen, played by Humayun Saeed, who harbors a troubled past. As destinies intertwine and secrets are revealed, “Main Hoon Shahid Afridi” unfolds a tale of mistrust, betrayal, love, power, and dreams left unfulfilled.
