As college students Jake and Jan grapple with financial difficulties in today’s economy, they stumble upon a promising business venture thanks to their benefactor and landlord, George. However, a string of misfortunes causes the deal to collapse, leaving the couple deeper in debt. Desperate, they resort to extreme actions, plotting to kill George to secure a hefty payout. Yet, their plans go awry, and after several unsuccessful attempts to eliminate him, they find themselves fleeing with George hot on their trail, seeking retribution.
