Happy 40th

A woman marks her 40th birthday by inviting her three closest friends to spend an extended weekend with her and her husband. For the past two years, she has been confined to a wheelchair, leading her to become reclusive within her home. Her husband remains supportive, burdened by the guilt of having caused the car accident that resulted in her condition. During the three-day celebration, it becomes apparent that each person is grappling with their own personal challenges and sense of self. When one of the friends makes a grave error and betrays the woman on her special day, it forces everyone to confront their own lives and limitations in an uncomfortable and immediate way.
