Hankyu densha
“Hankyu Densha” explores the intertwined stories of several passengers traveling on the Imazu Line of the Hankyu Railway, which links the cities of Nishinomiya and Takarazuka in Hyogo Prefecture. Among the travelers is Shoko (played by Miki Nakatani), a woman in her 30s working in an office who has recently been left by her boyfriend for a younger coworker. Another passenger is a college student (portrayed by Erika Toda) who is easily influenced by her unreliable boyfriend. The train also carries a grandmother with her granddaughter, a housewife, a female high school student, and a college student who is an otaku. Despite the journey between the two stations lasting just 15 minutes, the interactions among these passengers lead to significant changes in their lives.
