Lloyd, a photographer facing the grim reality of a terminal brain tumor, discovers that his ailment has an unexpected side effect: it can revive the recently deceased. Using his camera as a tool for this resurrection, he stumbles upon a chilling snuff film depicting the brutal murder of a beautiful woman. Driven by a desire to restore her to life, he repeatedly brings her back each night, captivated by her elegance and allure, and eventually finds himself falling in love with her. However, with each resurrection, he inadvertently also brings back her murderer, known as SHAPE.
