Footloose

In the 2011 remake of “Footloose,” directed by Craig Brewer, Ren McCormack moves from Boston to a small Southern town where he discovers that dancing and loud music have been banned following a tragic accident. Determined to challenge the status quo, Ren inspires the town’s youth to reclaim their passion for music and dance, ultimately leading to a cultural showdown with the town’s conservative leadership.
