Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone

Following the Second Impact, the city of Tokyo-3 faces assaults from colossal creatures known as Angels, whose goal is to annihilate humanity. Young Shinji is tasked with combating these Angels by operating one of the enigmatic Evangelion mecha units. This film is a reimagining of the initial six episodes of GAINAX’s acclaimed 1996 anime series. It was renamed “Evangelion: 1.01” for its home video release and “Evangelion: 1.11” for a version that includes extra scenes.
