In a dystopian future where society is divided into five factions based on human virtues, a young woman named Tris Prior discovers she is “Divergent,” meaning she doesn’t fit into any one group. As she uncovers a conspiracy to eliminate those like her, Tris must navigate dangerous alliances and find out why being Divergent is so perilous.
