Digimon: The Movie
The initial tale centers on Tai and Kari Kamiya, set four years prior to their journey in the Digital World. It narrates their first interaction with Digimon and the events that unfolded for them and the other children. One morning, Tai and Kari discover a Digi-Egg that emerged from their computer the previous night. The egg hatches into a Botamon, which then evolves into Koromon and subsequently Agumon. This Agumon, distinct from the one that befriends Tai in the series, somehow shares a mutual recognition with both Koromon and Kari. Agumon inadvertently causes significant destruction in the neighborhood while Kari rides on his back. Another Digi-Egg appears in the sky, revealing a malevolent Digimon named Parrotmon. Agumon transforms into Greymon but initially lacks the strength to defeat Parrotmon and is knocked unconscious. Tai uses Kari’s whistle to awaken Greymon, who then manages to defeat Parrotmon, and both vanish together.
