A 91-year-old man, who is deeply religious and lives in seclusion, and a young caregiver who is a refugee from Cuba, grapple with their past regrets and the overwhelming sorrow of profound loss. Together, they confront the complexities of love and the poignant reality that, despite everything, life continues even as it inevitably comes to an end.
