In search of a skilled accomplice for complex cons, Richard Gaddis enlists Rodrigo, a swindler known for his impeccable poker face. Together, they devise an elaborate scheme to sell a counterfeit Silver Certificate to currency enthusiast William Hannigan. Despite his skepticism towards Gaddis, Rodrigo is driven by the need to support his ailing father. The plot thickens when Rodrigo becomes romantically involved with Gaddis’ sister, Valerie, adding another layer to their intricate game.
