Crimes Of The Mind

The narrative follows the real-life story of Carolyn Raeburn’s daughter, who completed high school at just 16. Laura was intelligent, well-liked, and excited about her future. However, during the summer before she was set to start college, an incident occurred that drastically altered the lives of her and her family. Laura went to a rural boarding ranch to learn horseback riding, where she encountered a bizarre and intimidating woman who manipulated her mind. This woman groomed Laura to take the place of her deceased daughter. Carolyn then dedicated the next five years, much of her mental well-being, and over half a million dollars to reclaim her daughter.
