Over the last 26 years, 16 attempts have been made to conquer one of Pakistan’s 8,000-meter peaks during the winter, all without success. However, on February 2, 2011, Simone Moro, Denis Urubko, and Cory Richards achieved this feat for the first time. Cory Richards is now the sole American to have reached the summit of an 8,000-meter peak in winter. The expedition was perilous and nearly cost them their lives. Throughout the journey, Cory documented their harrowing experience with a small camera. This film presents their story through the unfiltered and genuine viewpoint captured by Cory’s lens.
