At 17, Griselda Blanco arrived in the United States using a forged passport alongside her first husband, Carlos. Residing in Queens with her three sons, she was drawn to the lucrative opportunities within the drug trade and soon became involved with local traffickers. Griselda ingeniously orchestrated the use of attractive women, seniors, and children as couriers, and devised hidden compartments in suitcases to transport cocaine from Colombia.
