Christmas Everlasting

As Christmas approaches, Lucy Toomey is on the brink of achieving her career goal of becoming a partner at New York’s leading corporate law firm after years of dedication. However, her plans are disrupted when her older sister, Alice, who had special needs, unexpectedly dies. Lucy must return to Nilson’s Bay, Wisconsin, to attend the funeral and manage her sister’s estate. Although she is reluctant to revisit her childhood home, she is genuinely saddened by the fact that she missed Alice’s final call due to her busy schedule. In Nilson’s Bay, Lucy reconnects with Peter, her high school sweetheart and Alice’s former lawyer, who reveals the unusual conditions of Alice’s will: to inherit the family home, Lucy must reside there for 30 days during the holiday season.
