Child of God

“Child of God,” directed by James Franco, follows the story of Lester Ballard, a dispossessed and violent man who descends into deeper isolation and depravity in rural Tennessee. As he struggles to exist outside the social order, the film explores themes of alienation and the human capacity for darkness.
