Backstory

In his early years, the main character is abandoned by his mother and must endure life with his abusive father. He struggles through his teenage years and eventually finds the love of his life. Just when it appears that his life is finally coming together, an unexpected incident alters his path permanently. This narrative explores the transient nature of all that we cherish, learn, create, and dread, highlighting that it will all eventually disappear.
