Asking For It

After being sexually assaulted by her longtime friend Mike, small-town waitress Joey forms a bond with the enigmatic Regina. Regina introduces her to The Cherry Bombers, an all-female gang composed of Beatrice, Lily, Sal, Jett, Angie, and Fala. Each member carries her own history of trauma, and together they challenge a misogynistic society by confronting violent fraternity members, a corrupt police force involved in human trafficking under Sheriff Morel, and the menacing alt-right organization MFM (Men’s First Movement) led by Mark Vanderhill. As Joey becomes more entangled in their tumultuous world, Sal’s former lover, Logan County Sheriff Vernon, begins investigating MFM, culminating in an intense confrontation.
