Arc

Set in the heart of Los Angeles’ criminal underbelly, “Arc” follows the journey of Paris Pritchert, a former cop who has become a drug dealer and addict. He sets out on a mission to locate a missing child, hoping to restore his deteriorating sense of self-worth. However, like many addicts, Paris’ self-assurance is entirely dependent on the drugs he consumes. He believes that staying perpetually high is the key to completing his mission, as long as he can survive the ordeal. To assist him, Paris teams up with Maya Gibbs, an African American sex worker who is fluent in both street slang and the writings of Maya Angelou and Nadine Gordimer. As they navigate their way through this chaotic world, they encounter the child’s parents, a doctor with a taste for hiring “Street Boys,” a self-proclaimed King of Porn, a drug dealer known for his exquisite hors d’oeuvres, and a corrupt cop with more schemes than the savviest street hustler.
