Apt Pupil

In “Apt Pupil,” directed by Bryan Singer, a high school student named Todd Bowden discovers that his elderly neighbor, Kurt Dussander, is a former Nazi war criminal in hiding. As Todd becomes increasingly obsessed with learning about the atrocities of the past, a dark and twisted relationship develops between the two, leading to chilling consequences.
