Melvin, an unlikely and imperfect hero, has long been numbing his telekinetic abilities with alcohol, drugs, and women. This lifestyle has led to numerous failures, particularly in his role as a father to his son. Following a near-death experience, Melvin resolves to turn his life around by using his powers to bring justice to the streets of New Orleans, aided by his best friend, Lucille, who insists she’s not just a sidekick. Despite his extraordinary abilities, Melvin may find this challenge to be one of his toughest yet.
