Act of Grace

When Dezzie forms a friendship with Yasin, the new student at his school, he has no idea that this relationship will profoundly influence his future. Observing the relentless racist harassment and bullying directed at the reserved Chinese newcomer, Dezzie, who is familiar with being bullied himself, decides to confront Yasin’s aggressors. This act of courage earns him the respect of not only those who once tormented him but, more significantly, of Yasin and his family.
