A Second Chance

Detectives and close friends Andreas and Simon live contrasting lives; Andreas enjoys a stable life with his lovely wife and child, while Simon, who is newly single, spends much of his time intoxicated at a nearby strip club. Their lives take a dramatic turn when they respond to a domestic disturbance involving a drug-addicted couple trapped in a relentless cycle of violence and substance abuse. Initially, the situation seems typical until Andreas discovers the couple’s baby, weeping in a closet. This discovery deeply unsettles the normally composed officer, forcing him to confront his own helplessness. As Andreas begins to lose his sense of justice, it unexpectedly falls to the disorderly Simon to reestablish the equilibrium between right and wrong.
