A Man in Uniform
Henry Adler, a solitary resident of Ontario, frequently visits his stern and judgmental father and holds a job at a bank. Additionally, he pursues acting. His life takes on new meaning when he lands a role as a police officer in a gritty TV series. Immersing himself in the character, he takes a uniform from the wardrobe and roams the city streets. Before long, he starts interacting with bank clients as if he were an actual officer, which leads to issues with his employer. However, Henry remains unfazed. He develops feelings for a fellow actress, Charlie, and they rehearse together. Unfortunately, Henry’s peculiar behavior and intensity unsettle her, prompting her to sever all ties. Heartbroken, Henry’s situation escalates when a Los Angeles police officer mistakes him for a genuine cop.
