A father grapples with memories of the past, while his daughter battles for what lies ahead. Meanwhile, the mother seeks understanding. The Boyajian family hasn’t observed Christmas for over a decade, ever since their son was taken from them during the Persian Gulf War, leading to a loss of faith. Now, a newcomer, who is about the same age their son would have been, has entered their lives.
