Downtown Owl

In 1983, the small town of Owl, North Dakota, experiences a dramatic shift in the lives of its inhabitants due to an unprecedented whiteout blizzard. Among those affected are Horace, an elderly man who enjoys reflecting on the past at the local café; Mitch, a high school backup quarterback struggling with depression; and Julia, a newly hired English teacher at the local high school. The storm disrupts not only their lives but also those of the other townspeople.
