Cousins

Mata, Missy, and Makareta are three cousins whose lives have taken different paths due to various circumstances, yet they remain connected by their shared heritage. Mata, an orphan, grows up feeling isolated and confused, believing she has no family. Meanwhile, Makareta, who is well-educated, escapes an arranged marriage to pursue a legal career and to search for her lost cousin. She leaves behind Missy, who is both mischievous and responsible, to act as the guardian of their ancestral land. As time goes by, the threat of losing their family land looms large, and the hope of reuniting with their estranged cousin seems increasingly unlikely.
