Set in the 1950s, Hal King is immersed in the beatnik jazz culture, mingling with drug users and living a fast-paced lifestyle. However, when he is drafted to serve in the Korean War, he faces a difficult decision between upholding his father’s political heritage and staying with the woman he loves.
